A Fine Day to Leave
A piece by Kete Bowers for Bert Jansch
Kete says: “I have been a fan of Bert Jansch for many years, he has influenced my writing in many ways. He’s a great songwriter and in my book the finest and most original acoustic guitar player I have heard. One of my favourite Bert Jansch songs is ‘Back Home’ from his album When the Circus Comes to Town. That song helped inspire me to write my song ‘A Fine Day to Leave’. Thank you for all the music Bert – forever a fan.”
